Limitations of Computer


Computer is an electronic machine. Nowadays almost in all fields are used computer system. Although it is very reliable, versatile, accurate fast machine, it has some limitations too. Some of the major limitations of computer are as follows:

  • No Intelligence:

Computer doesn’t have its own intelligence. It is directed by human being. It works on the basis of instruction given by human being. It can not do any task by its own intelligence. Moreover it has no IQ (Intelligent Quotient). 

  • No Power of Thinking: 

Computer doesn’t have its own thinking power. Computer system does not have ability to make decision on their own. It can not think the difference between good. It can only do task that are instructed by the human being (user). 

  • No Learning Power:

Computer has no learning power. Once the computer is given the instruction how to perform task by the user, it can not do the same task if you do not give any instruction to the computer next time. It can only solve the problem but can not learn the problem. Thus, it can only perform task on the basis of instruction. 

  • Dependent: 


A computer can not care itself like a human being. Computer is dependent. It can not do any task automatically. They are used for the purpose of human being.

  • No Feelings:

It is one of the major limitation of computer that it can’t feel like human being and can’t  think about the human being.
