I live at Kathmandu with my small family. We are four in our family. My father is a teacher. He teaches English. He is a writer also and has written a number of books. We read his stories and poems in magazines.My mother is a nurse. She gives us health education.


I am a student of class nine. I go to school regularly. I do my lesson every day. I work hard. my teachers are pleaded with me. I have a sister. She reads in class six. She is a good student.


There is peace in my family. We do not quarrel among ourselves. My father and mother gave great affection for us. Whenever we are unwell, my mother nurses us well. She takes great care of us at home. But he wants us to read and understand ourselves. We are very obedient to our parents. We never disobey them. We help one another in times of need.

My father as well as my mother is helpful and has a religious belief too. Both are kind and generous. We lead a happy family life. I am proud of my family.

We all know the Biblical story of David and Goliath. Goliath was a giant of a man. He stuck fear in everyone’s heart. One day, a 17-years-old shepherd boy came to visit his brothers and asked. “Why don’t you stand to and fight the giant?” The brothers were terrified of Goliath and they replied. “Don’t you see he is too bit to hit?” but David said, “No he is not too big to hit, he is too big to miss.” The rest is history. Struggle of Butterfly

A biology teacher was teaching his students how a caterpillar turns into a butterfly. He told the students that in the next couple of hours, the butterfly would struggle to come out of the cocoon but no one should help the butterfly. Then he left.  The students were waiting and it happened. The butterfly struggled to get out of the cocoon and against the advice of the teacher; one of the students took pity on it and decided to help the butterfly out of the cocoon. He broke the cocoon to help the butterfly so it didn’t have to struggle anymore. Then within a short moment, the butterfly died.  When a teacher returned, he was told what had happened. He explained to the student that it is a law of nature that the struggle to come out of the cocoon actually helps to develop the strength of the butterfly’s wing.
