In the world there are many people. There are both good and bad people in the world or in our society. Due to the bad people, many bad things are originated in our society. Theft, robbery, dowry system, smuggling, early marriage, girl trafficking etc. are social evils in our society.

Social evils are increasing rapidly. Public are unsafe. Women are rapped. They lure the girls or children (kids) and take them to other country and sell them. Drug addiction is serious problem in our society. Many youth are drug addicts. When they don’t have enough money to purchase drugs, they do not hesitate to seal things and commit crimes. Dowry system is a strong poison to the poor in developing counties like Nepal, India, Bangladesh, etc. 


There are a lot of causes of social evils. The first cause of these social evils is ignorance. Ignorant people are very dangerous because they don't know that what is right and what is wrong. Ignorant people are superstitious. The second cause is poverty. In order to get rid of long poverty, they get involved in the activities, which destroy the society. Politics of the country is also responsible for the social evils. They use youths to create instability in the society and earn as much as money as they can by hook or crook.
People should be made aware of the social evils. This can be done by means of education. People should be educated and should provide jobs opportunity to those who are unemployed. When the person gets job they don’t do any crime. Rehabilitation of the victims is necessary.

We all know the Biblical story of David and Goliath. Goliath was a giant of a man. He stuck fear in everyone’s heart. One day, a 17-years-old shepherd boy came to visit his brothers and asked. “Why don’t you stand to and fight the giant?” The brothers were terrified of Goliath and they replied. “Don’t you see he is too bit to hit?” but David said, “No he is not too big to hit, he is too big to miss.” The rest is history. Struggle of Butterfly

A biology teacher was teaching his students how a caterpillar turns into a butterfly. He told the students that in the next couple of hours, the butterfly would struggle to come out of the cocoon but no one should help the butterfly. Then he left.  The students were waiting and it happened. The butterfly struggled to get out of the cocoon and against the advice of the teacher; one of the students took pity on it and decided to help the butterfly out of the cocoon. He broke the cocoon to help the butterfly so it didn’t have to struggle anymore. Then within a short moment, the butterfly died.  When a teacher returned, he was told what had happened. He explained to the student that it is a law of nature that the struggle to come out of the cocoon actually helps to develop the strength of the butterfly’s wing.
